So today i’m going to share the amazing tips  of Cassava flour with you. In this article, you’ll get only the facts so "kwama na Mimi huku Hadi tamato".

What you need to understand about cassava flour.

1 How amazing is cassava flour?

Many of you may be asking what is Cassava flour so here are the "majibus"

The Cassava flour comes from a plant called cassava it's actually not that new to most of you.  Originally known as 'omwogo' from my tribe I don't know about yours, this tuber (potato-like) plant has been a staple in the region since time immemorial.

There is some confusion around the name. Muhogo  is often referred to as Muhogo  flour. In this  whole article, we’ll be talking about omwogo  flour or Cassava flour, these are two names for the same thing actually.

While Cassava has been around since the dawn of time, little is known about this valuable and nutritious plant in the western region.

In the 15th century, Portuguese traders introduced Cassava to Africa and, soon after, Asia. Today, Nigeria is the biggest producer of Cassava. So it was used as a trading products in those centuries.

There has been an increased interest in healthy, natural diets. This food was mostly used by our great great grandmothers who really understood the importance of cassava even knew how to prepare it well compared to how we always do currently where we just use machines to prepare the cassava flour, in their times they could just use stones to grind the cassava after harvesting.

Cassava flour has become popular with people seeking a healthier diet mostly people with sickness problems like health problems.

2.  What are the benefits of cassava flour assava to our health?

Is Cassava Flour healthy? Obviously the answer is YES. The Cassava tuber is an important ingredient for both food and traditional medicine in many parts of the world.

While most medicinal uses require eating the whole plant or leaves, Cassava Flour has numerous health benefits. It is a rich source of fibe and carbohydrates. However, cassava contains many essential vitamins and minerals. Mostly would be vitamin C and B2. There are many more great health benefits.

3.  Cassava as an Anti-Inflammatory

One of the best health advantages of using Cassava Flour is that it is high in resistant starch. This provides nutrition for healthy digestive bacteri. It reduces inflammation and promote digestive health. Cassava Flour is recommended for people with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) or Irritable Bowel Disorder (IBD).

This is good news for people suffering from type-2 diabetes they can use .Cassava Flour is a healthy option for reducing the risk of obesity and diabetes.

5.  Does Cassava Flour spike blood sugar?

This is much lower than most other forms of starch. Low GI food, like Cassava Flour, slows digestion. This reduces a blood sugar spike after eating the cassava. Another reason why it is good for diabetics, as well as reducing appetite by making you feel full after eating it.

6.  Is Cassava Flour bad to consume?

The association between Casava and cyanide poisoning has raised some concerns. Many have questioned if Cassava Flour is safe to eat. The raw Cassava plant contains cyanogenic glycosides. When consumed, this can result in cyanide being released into the body. In high enough quantities, this can be so dangerous. Luckily,  if responsibly manufactured Cassava Flour does not contain harmful cyanogenic glycosides and is perfectly safe to be eaten by anyone.

Research into the negative effects of cassava has revealed a tendency to interfere with the absorption of some essential nutrients. This is not something that should be of great concern for people who follow a healthy diet. It is more of a concern in places where malnutrition is a problem to people. If your diet contains enough vitamins and nutrients, you will not experience any negative health effects. You will actually benefit from the reduction of tannins.

In fact, Cassava is not only healthier than wheat, it is seen by many as the best type of flour. Compared to most flours, Cassava is relatively low in calories and high in fiber. Both are great for weight loss you can prove this. However  Cassava is high in vitamin C. An anti-oxidant for relieving stress and providing immune system support. It can also improve the skin healthnes.

Unlike to coconut flour, it does not contain nuts. This makes Cassava Flour the best gluten-free alternative for people with nut allergies.

Tapioca flour  is  manufactured using the Cassava root, there’s a misconception that tapioca and Cassava Flour are the same.Tapioca is made through boiling the Cassava plant and then draining away the starch, which is then left to dry for some time as the end product is exactly starch.  However, Cassava Flour utilizes the whole tuber. It is dried and grinded  into flour.

Tapioca does not provide the health benefits to human body   compared to that coming from eating natural Cassava Flour.

10. Can Cassava Flour replace all-purpose flour?

Obviously the answer is yes. Major reason why Cassava flour is seen by many as the ultimate wheat replacement is that it has a mild, slightly nutty flavor which is really so sweet. You can use it in the same recipes that you would all-purpose flour. Generally, you’ll use it in the same quantity that you would regular flour.

11. Can I bake using  Cassava Flour?

Cassava flour can be used as a recipe , you may want some tips. You can use it at a 1:1 ratio. This means that if you would use 1 cup of wheat flour, you can substitute it for 1 cup of Cassava Flour right?

You should also  be aware, however, that Cassava Flour is lighter than wheat flour and absorbs more moisture. Because of this, some cakes may end up a little denser which won't be sweet.

In some cases , you  can probably won’t notice much difference. Though, at first, you may need to experiment a little bit . If you want to make cakes or brownies less dense, or lighter, slightly reduce the amount of Cassava Flour.

Although the taste is  neutral, this is a natural root flour, not a grain flour. It does have a bit of a nutty taste, which is certainly pleasant. You may want to alter the flavor slightly in some cases

Cassava flour is finer than wheat flour. It can be dusty if tossed about too much.

12. Can I use cassava flour in frying?

We came to conclusion that cassava flour can be used for baking since it's light,so what about frying? Because it is gluten-free, this is one of the best flours for frying. It provides a lighter coating for fried food.

The tip  to frying with gluten-free flour is to get the right combination of eggs to improve adhesion.

So it can be recommendable to use cassava flour for frying your foods

Now it is clear  that Cassava flour is about the best gluten-free alternative to wheat flour. Nut-free and a healthier option for diabetics. Also rich in fiber, carbohydrates, vitamins, and miner. No doubt on using it  this is the healthy choice. Making the change from wheat to gluten-free is made easier. Cassava flour can replace wheat flour in your favorite recipes and is perfect for frying.

Before you buy cassava flour, make sure you’re getting the real deal. It is important to know what you’re eating. You want naturl, non-GMO food that is responsibly resourced.

Frequent asked questions about positional (P2)

Hello, welcome to this article where I'm going to teach you about the contraceptive called postinor.

What's is postinor?

Actually, postinor is an oral contraceptive which is also an emergency contraceptive that can be used within 72 hours (3days) of having unprotected sex or raw sex or if your usual contraceptive method has literally failed.

Can I wait until 72 hours to take the postinor pill?

Not at all! The sooner you take the tablet the better results. The earlier the higher the chance to prevent pregnancy. Most people call it emergency contraceptive pills. So you don't have to wait until it 72 hours then you rush to pharmacist to get the tablet NO, just take the pill if possible immediately after unprotected sex or raw sex or if you think your birth control methods has literally failed.

1. How can I take postinor?

Postinor is a single pill, any 1 pill and you can easily avoid abortion .In it's pack there's only one pill in it. You have to take the postinor within 72 hours Whis is equivalent to 3 days of having any unprotected sex or raw sex . (That is for one tablet in a pack).

For 2 tablets version of postinor b, take the second tablet exactly after b12 hours after taking the first one .

The sooner you take it the more likely to work . Ideally b,you should try to take the tablet within 24 hours following unprotected sexual intercourse ,as this is when it is most effective .

The efficacy of levonorgestrel  emergency contraceptive pills depends on how many hours have passed since you had unprotected sex. If you re worried about the possibility of an unplanned pregnancy it's important to act now rather than waiting to think of an abortion later which is also costly and can be at risk.

2 .When to take and not to take postinor.

Postinor is a morning after pill is currently the safest way to prevent pregnancy after contraceptive failure or after unprotected sexual intercourse with low esteem of several side effects. It's very unlikely that you will have any serious or long-term side effects after taking the postinor pill. You can even carry on with your daily activities.

When should one not take postinor tablet?

If you are actually pregnant, this is because it will not work though it will not harm the baby or interfere with the pregnancy.

If you are  to postinor contraceptive.

Note: Postinor won't protect you from getting HIV infection nor sexually transmitted diseases.

3. How often can I take postinor?

Postinor tablet it's actually not a regular method of family planning so don't dare use it regularly . Use it in an emergency occasions only. Postinor has much less side effects and healthy risks than abortion pills.

Generally speaking you should not take postinor more than once within one menstrual cycle because it's more likely to disappoint your period .

Postinor does not work as well as regular methods of contraception.Your doctor , practice nurse or family planning clinic can advise you which are more effective in preventing you from getting unwanted pregnancy.

Incase you are pregnant, emergency pills do not work and that is if you are already pregnant. Postinor will also not harm an already established pregnancy. If you suspect to be pregnant, immediately see your doctor as soon as possible. But if you have already taken the pill to prevent pregnancy please don't repeat.

4. If I start to vomit after taking the pill , what should I do?

This postinor has its side effects which will eventually come after taking it and that like vomiting, nausea, such kind. So after taking the postinor contraceptive , a few women will get to be sick nor vomit ,but incase you vomit within 3 hours of taking contraceptive you literally need to take another pill. If vomiting persist go back to your doctor, pharmacist or family planning clinic for another packet.

4. How do I know postinor had worked?

Actually you will know postinor has worked after immediately when you have your next menstrual cycle and it seem like a normal period.

5. When do you have to turn to your doctor?

If your periods extends to more than 5 days later unusually heavy or light.

If you still worried that you might be pregnant and it's after seeing pregnancy signs ie fever, vomiting .

If you have sudden and unusual pain in the lower abdomen and your period is late.

If you have any concerns about your health or about the methods of contraception that is most suitable for you.

For example: You may decide that you're going to charge your wearable right next to your toothbrush, so you can easily strap it on and head out for your morning jog. This also takes a lot of overthinking and decision fatigue out of the equation because you know you're going to get it in right after you've taken care of your oral hygiene, period.

The nutrient chromium could help to restore normal insulin function and supplementation has been shown to contribute to the maintenance of normal blood glucose levels and to reduce sugar and carbohydrate cravings.

3. Low energy .

Following the excessive consumption of sugar, the pancreas releases insulin to help transfer glucose to the cells, meaning we may experience a rush of energy. Once used up, we can experience a dip in energy as the body demands more sugar to start the cycle all over again. It is not hard to imagine that the higher the sugar peak, the more extreme the sugar dip that will follow-up.

14 Reasons Why You’re Always Hungry

When you’re hungry, your stomach may “growl” and feel empty, or you may get a headache, feel irritable, or be unable to concentrate.

Most people can go several hours between meals before feeling hungry again, though this isn’t the case for everyone.

There are several possible explanations for this, including a diet that lacks protein, fat, or fiber, as well as excessive stress or dehydration.

These are the reasons why we have excessive hunger

1. You’re not eating enough protein

As we know proteins are one of the major classes of foods or sources of food energy.

So if one does not consume enough food rich proteins which help in giving energy then probably that person may be feeling hungry faster.

Protein has hunger-reducing properties since they energy giving foods that may help you automatically consume fewer calories during the day. It works by increasing the production of hormones that signal fullness and reducing the levels of hormones that stimulate hunger  within a short time.

So that's why one may get to feel hungry  frequently  due to not getting  to eat enough proteins.

However, those with high intake of proteins are reported to have no hunger problems since they are full Everytime.

Many different foods are high in protein, so it’s not difficult to get enough of it through your diet. Adding a source of protein in every meal can help prevent excessive hunger.

Animal products, such as meat, poultry, fish, and eggs, contain high amounts of protein.

This protein nutrient is also found in some dairy products, like, milk and yogurt, as well as a few plant-based foods like legumes, nuts, seeds, and whole grains. In addition protein nutrients play an important role in appetite giving because if you take alot of proteins no you cannot feel hungry faster.

2. You’re not sleeping enough

As we all know getting enough sleep makes your mind feel relaxed and it's extremely important for your health purposes.

Getting enough sleep  is required for the proper functioning of your brain and immune system ,getting enough of it is associated with a lower risk of several chronic illnesses, including heart disease and cancer.

Sleeping enough is a factor in appetite control, the appetite-stimulating hormone. Sleeping enough has  helped to  ensure adequate levels of leptin, a hormone that promotes feelings of satisfaction. It is actually recommended that one should atleast sleep to 6_8hour To keep  your hunger levels well managed,  to get at least 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep each night.

3. You’re eating too many refined carbs

Carbs have been highly processed and stripped of their fiber, vitamins, and minerals salts.

Most popular sources of  carbs is white flour, which is found in many starchy based foods like bread and pasta. Foods like soda, candy, and baked goods, which are made with processed sugars, are also considered to be carbs.

Carbs lack filling fiber, your body digests them very quickly. This is a major reason why you may be hungry frequently if you eat a lot of refined carbs, as they do not promote significant feelings of fullness .

In addition, eating refined carbs may lead to rapid spikes in your blood sugar. This leads to increased levels of insulin, a hormone responsible for transporting sugar into your cells .

When a lot of insulin is released at once in response to high blood sugar, it quickly removes sugar from your blood, which may lead to a sudden drop in blood sugar levels, a condition known as hypoglycemia.

Low blood sugar levels signal your body that it needs more food, which is another reason why you may feel hungry often if refined carbs are a regular part of your diet.

To reduce your refined carb intake, simply replace them with nutrient-rich, whole foods like vegetables, fruit, legumes, and whole grains. Foods are still high in carbs, but they are rich in fiber, which helps keep hunger well managed .

Refined carbs lack fiber and cause blood sugar fluctuations, which are the primary reasons why eating too many of them may leave you feeling hungry.

4. Your diet is low in fats

Intake of fats plays an important role, since they keep your stomach full.

This is  due to its slow gastrointestinal transit time, meaning that it takes longer for you to digest and remains in your stomach for a long period of time. Eating fat may lead to the release of various fullness-promoting hormones.

These  are the reasons, you may feel frequent hunger if your diet is low in fat.

Sources of nutrient-rich, high fat foods include avocados, olive oil, eggs, and full fat yogurt.

You may feel hungry often if you don’t eat enough fat. That’s because fat plays a role in slowing digestion and increasing the production of fullness-promoting hormones.

5. You’re not drinking enough water

Drinking alot of enough water help in  hydration  which is  important for your overall health.

Drinking enough water has several health benefits, ie promoting brain and heart health and optimizing exercise performance. Additionally, water keeps your skin and digestive system healthy .

Water also helps in digestion process.

Water is also quite filling and has the potential to reduce appetite when consumed before meals

If you’re always hungry, it may you help to drink a glass or two of water to find out if you’re just thirsty .

To ensure you’re properly hydrated, simply drink water when you feel thirsty. Eating lots of water-rich foods, like fruits and vegetables, will also contribute to your hydration needs .

You may always be hungry if you’re not drinking enough water. That’s because it has appetite-reducing properties. Additionally, you may be mistaking feelings of thirst for feelings of hunger but it's good to take alot of water.

6. Your diet lacks fiber

You may feel hungry frequent, if your diet lacks fibre .Consuming lots of high fiber foods helps keep hunger well managed. High fiber foods slow your stomach’s emptiness rate and take longer to digest than low fiber foods.

In addition, a high fiber intake influences the release of appetite-reducing hormones and the production of short-chain fatty acids, which have been shown to have fullness-promoting effects.

Don't forget to note that there are different types of fiber, whereby some are better than others at keeping you full and preventing hunger.Ddifferent foods, such as oatmeal, flaxseeds, sweet potatoes, oranges, and Brussels sprouts, are excellent sources of soluble fiber.

Not only does a high fiber diet help reduce hunger, but it’s also associated with several other health benefits, such as a reduced risk of heart disease, diabetes, and obesity .To ensure you’re getting enough fiber, opt for a diet that’s rich in whole, plant-based foods, such as fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, legumes, and whole grains.

If your diet lacks fiber, you may find that you are always hungry. This is because fiber plays a role in reducing your appetite and keeping you full

7. You eat while you’re distracted

When you start eating don't accept any disruption from anyone be busy for once  live a busy lifestyle, this is total disturbance reject  "kana pii"

Being distracted when eating ,this can even affect your health though it may save you time,  It’s associated with greater appetite, increased calorie intake, and weight gain at the same time.

Distracted eating reduces your awareness of how much you’re consuming. It prevents you from recognizing your body’s fullness signals as efficiently as when you’re not distracted this are the negative outcomes when distracted.

To avoid distracted eating, you can try practicing mindfulness, minimizing screen time, and silencing your electronic devices. This will allow you to sit down and taste your food, helping you better recognize your body’s fullness signals.

Distracted eating may be a reason why you are always hungry, as it makes it difficult for you to recognize feelings of fullness.

8. You exercise a lot

Individuals who exercise frequently burn a lot of calories at the same time.

If  you regularly participate in high-intensity exercise or engage in physical activity for long durations, such as in marathon training you will end up feeling hungry.

According to researchers  those who exercise vigorously on a regular basis tend to have a faster metabolism, which means that they burn more calories at rest than those who exercise moderately or live sedentary lifestyles.

You can prevent excessive hunger from exercise simply by eating more to fuel your workouts. It is most helpful to increase your intake of filling foods that are high in fiber, protein, and healthy fats.

Another solution is to cut back on the time you spend exercising or reduce the intensity of your workouts.

This mostly relies on those athletes who go for long workouts without filling their stomachs.

Individuals who regularly exercise at a high intensity or for long durations tend to have greater appetites and faster metabolisms. Thus, they may experience frequent hunger due to alotbof workout at a longer time.

9. You’re drinking too much alcohol

Drinking too much of alcohol increases the chances of getting hungry faster . However, alcohol may inhibit hormones that reduce appetite, such as leptin, especially when it is consumed before or with meals. Do this  reason, you may feel hungry often if you drink too much alcohol without food.

Alcohol may not only make you hungrier, but it also impairs the part of your brain that controls judgment and self-control. This may lead you to eat more, regardless of how hungry you are.

To reduce the hunger-inducing effects of alcohol, it’s best to consume it moderately or avoid it completely.

Drinking too much alcohol may cause you to feel hungry frequently due to its role in decreasing the production of hormones that promote fullness.

10. You drink your calories

Liquid and solid foods affect your appetite in different ways.

If you consume a lot of liquid foods, such as smoothies, meal replacement shakes, and soups, you may be hungrier more often than you would be if you ate more solid foods.

One major reason for this is that liquids pass through your stomach more quickly than solid foods can.

In some studies suggest that liquid foods do not have as great of an impact on the suppression of hunger-promoting hormones, compared with solid foods.

Eating liquid foods also tends to take less time than eating solid foods. This may lead you to want to eat more, only because your brain hasn’t had enough time to process fullness signals .

11. You’re overly stressed

When you stressed actually one the amount of appetite decrease .

This is mostly due to its effects on increasing levels of cortisol, a hormone that has been shown to promote hunger and food cravings. Therefore, you might find that you are always hungry if you experience frequent stress due to empty stomach with no appetite for solid foods.

Excessive stress is a reason why you may be hungry frequently, given its ability to increase cortisol levels in the body.

12. You’re taking certain medications

Several medications may increase your appetite as a side effect.

The most common appetite-inducing medications include antipsychotics, such as clozapine and , as well as antidepressants, mood stabilizers.

In addition, some diabetes medications, such as insulin, insulin secretagogues, are known to increase your hunger and appetite.

There is also some anecdotal evidence that birth control pills have appetite-stimulating properties.

If you confirm that medications are the cause of your frequent hunger, it may help to talk with your doctor about other treatment options so as to find another alternative .

Certain medications cause increased appetite as a side effect. In turn, they may cause you to experience frequent hunger.

13. You eat too fast

The rate at which you eat may play a role in how hungry you are this is not recommended because the food might chick you off.

Several studies have shown that fast eaters have greater appetites and a tendency to overeat at meals, compared with slow eaters. They are also more likely to have obesity or excess weight .

If are hungry frequently, just  eat more slowly.

Eating quickly doesn’t allow your body enough time to recognize fullness, which may promote excessive hunger.

14. You have a medical condition

Frequent hunger may be a symptom of disease.

First, frequent hunger is a classic sign of diabetes. It occurs as a result of extremely high blood sugar levels and is typically accompanied by other symptoms, including excessive thirst, weight loss, and fatigue .

Hyperthyroidism, a condition characterized by an overactive thyroid, is also associated with increased hunger. This is because it causes excess production of thyroid hormones, which are known to promote appetite.

Hypoglycemia, or low blood sugar levels, may also increase your hunger levels  Your blood sugar levels may fall if you haven’t eaten for a while, an effect that may be exacerbated by a diet high in refined carbs and sugar .

However, hypoglycemia is also associated with medical conditions, such as type 2 diabetes, hyperthyroidism, and kidney failure, among others .

Additionally, excessive hunger is often a symptom of a few other conditions, such as depression, anxiety, and premenstrual syndrome .If you suspect that you may have one of these conditions, it’s important to talk with your doctor to receive a proper diagnosis and discuss treatment options.
